Our client, an international player in the industry services sector, is seeking a CFO to oversee financial, accounting, and tax tasks for multiple subsidiaries. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, and legal regulations, managing cash flow, analyzing budget variances, updating cash flow forecasts, supervising banking relationships, and preparing financial reports for external partners. The CFO will also provide recommendations to the executive committee on financial strategies and operational processes, conduct cost analysis and internal audits, set team objectives, evaluate performance, and support skill development.
The successful candidate will have a background in finance, accounting, or business school with at least ten years of experience in financial management of subsidiaries in Africa, preferably in energy, construction, transportation, or infrastructure sectors.
