Opportunity Details
The position is based in Brazzaville with 50% travel required and involves financial management and fundraising responsibilities for a leading industrial player in sub-Saharan Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing management procedures and necessary indicators for activity monitoring and reporting to the management, coordinating monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements for the entity and affiliated companies, ensuring the reliability of company accounts and financial documents in compliance with legislation, identifying performance impacting issues, conducting monthly reporting to headquarters with P&L analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and identifying sources for tax and accounting optimization.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, Management, or from a business school, with at least ten years of experience in a financial management role, preferably with experience in fundraising and operational tasks. The role requires a presence of approximately 50% at the group's industrial sites and the ability to support the general management in deploying the industrial strategy. The position offers an expatriate contract and the opportunity to work in the energy and natural resources industry in Brazzaville.
