
Our client, a leading distribution group, is seeking a Director of Purchasing and Marketing. In this role, you will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement the company's product offering strategy. You will collaborate with Category Managers to determine assortment and negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers to secure favorable purchasing conditions, timelines, and quality. Additionally, you will devise a digital marketing strategy to enhance the visibility of the company's offerings on its websites. Efficient logistical strategies will also be established based on business needs, allocated budgets, and market requirements to optimize procurement conditions and stock management. Strategic market and trend analysis will be conducted to anticipate changes and adjust purchasing and marketing strategies accordingly.
The successful candidate will have a degree from a business school with a specialization in purchasing, along with at least 10 years of similar experience, ideally in a BtB purchasing center. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to implement a disruptive omnichannel marketing strategy will be essential for this role.
