The Deputy Executive Director of Science and Conservation at our client will be responsible for leading the transformation of the organization into a world-class center for applied conservation and science. This individual will develop and implement environmental restoration and conservation programs that address important nature and climate issues on a national and global scale. As the executive in charge of all land and nature management activities, the Deputy Executive Director will create a visionary strategy to position our client as a national leader in environmental restoration and conservation, promoting biodiversity and sustainability.In addition to managing agricultural and natural lands for maximum biodiversity, the Deputy Executive Director will focus on developing and implementing natural climate solutions that restore biodiversity, store carbon, and promote climate resilience. This individual will also lead efforts to promote science-based research and evaluation methods to address conservation challenges, as well as build partnerships to engage in significant research and policy development at the national and global levels. The Deputy Executive Director will play a central role in shaping the future of our client as a leader in environmental conservation and sustainability.
