The State University is seeking a Dean of the School of Education to provide vision, strategic leadership, and operational management for the academic programs and personnel of the School. The Dean will report to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and will be responsible for championing and elevating the School's innovative, diverse, and pragmatic character. The School of Education enrolls over 500 undergraduate and 450 graduate students in various degree programs, offering the next Dean the opportunity to build on the School's record of growth and success.
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the School of Education and the institution's mission and values, as well as a record of superb leadership and management skills. The new Dean is expected to assume office in July 2024 and will work to leverage momentum from recent successes within the School and the institution.
