The ideal candidate for this position should have experience in managing complex budget and management operations with multiple revenue streams and policy requirements. They should also have a proven track record of leadership in strategic planning at the program level or above, as well as experience in leading transformative change in higher education landscapes, technological advancements, or shifts in student demographics. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in curriculum development, assessment, and program review, including through multiple delivery modes, and a successful record of community engagement and fundraising with donors, foundations, and public organizations.Furthermore, the candidate should have experience in managing programs in a multi-site environment, recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating faculty, and promoting professional development for both faculty and staff. They should also have experience in establishing partnerships with diverse populations, including Hispanic and tribal communities, and in student retention and recruitment efforts, strategic enrollment planning, and high impact programs. Additionally, oversight of accreditation efforts/reports and conducting accreditation reviews, as well as leadership experience at a level beyond department head, and experience in a collective bargaining environment, are also desired qualifications for this position.
