The Dean will report to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost and will be responsible for overseeing educational programs, personnel policies, budget administration, and guiding the College to a new level of excellence. The successful candidate will focus on developing new programming, outreach, and recruitment efforts, with an emphasis on addressing health disparities.
The Dean of the College of Science and Health is expected to uphold the founding principles, values, and mission of our client, while demonstrating strong leadership skills, respect for colleagues and students, and the ability to work with diverse individuals and issues. Our client is a private, nonprofit institution committed to cultivating diverse health professions leaders dedicated to social justice and health equity for underserved populations. The University has a strong focus on health disparities research and has graduated numerous physicians, physician assistants, health professionals, and nursing professionals who go on to provide care in underserved communities.
