
The Dean will play a crucial role in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the College, fostering an environment that actively opposes discrimination and intolerance. They will oversee the academic department chairs, supervise an Administrative Assistant, manage a substantial budget, and provide leadership to a large faculty team consisting of both full-time, tenure/tenure-track faculty and part-time faculty. In addition to promoting inclusive excellence, the Dean will be responsible for strategic planning, program development, and fostering a collaborative and supportive academic environment. They will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure the College's mission and goals are met, while also representing the College in various internal and external settings.
