Northern Arizona University (NAU) is seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the next Dean of the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). Reporting to the Executive Vice President & University Provost, the Dean will be responsible for developing strong relationships with university administration, faculty, staff, industry, and community partners to advance the College's mission and deliver exceptional programs for students entering the health professions workforce. The Dean will focus on building an inclusive culture of excellence within the College, recruiting and retaining diverse faculty and staff, expanding access for students, and securing strong financial support through fundraising efforts.The Dean will oversee a leadership team, including two associate deans and six department chairs, as well as 37 staff members and 128 faculty within the College. Core responsibilities include strategic planning for the expansion of health professional programs, effective communication within the College and with external stakeholders, financial management, departmental administration, and personnel leadership. The Dean will play a key role in advocating for the College externally, collaborating with the NAU Foundation, and supporting the University's comprehensive fundraising campaign.
