The College of Engineering and Sciences at Purdue University Northwest is seeking a Dean to oversee a combined enrollment of nearly 1,500 graduate and undergraduate students and a budget of approximately $15.4 million. The successful candidate must have an earned doctorate in a discipline appropriate to the college, academic qualifications for appointment at the rank of professor, evidence of a student-centered approach to teaching and learning, leadership experience with faculty and staff, and experience managing financial and personnel resources. Additionally, the candidate should have experience collaborating with external stakeholders such as alumni, donors, industry, government, and community partners. The Dean of the College of Engineering and Sciences will be responsible for preparing students for careers in science and engineering disciplines. They will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to academic excellence, and the ability to foster relationships with external partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in academia, a passion for student success, and the ability to effectively manage resources to support the college's mission and goals.
