Our client is seeking a Dean for the College of Education, Health and Society (EHS) with a strong record of collaboration, academic accomplishment, and administrative experience. The university, known for its outstanding undergraduate education and selective graduate programs, serves a diverse student body and emphasizes personal attention and academic excellence. The EHS college, with six academic departments, offers programs that address academic inequities, health disparities, and sports leadership and management.
The Dean of EHS will serve as the chief administrative, academic, and budgetary officer for the college, collaborating with other deans, faculty, and the broader community to advance academic programs and interdisciplinary initiatives. The dean will be responsible for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within EHS and the university, while also managing the needs of various stakeholders and departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the education, health, and sports leadership industries, as well as the ability to leverage Miami's strengths and enhance the college's visibility and prestige.
