The Dean will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of the liberal arts education offered by our client, with a focus on disciplines such as Data Science and Music. They will lead the faculty in developing a vision for providing a public liberal arts education that is both compelling and relevant in today's society. Additionally, the Dean will be responsible for actively promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the College, creating an environment that fosters inclusive excellence and actively opposes discrimination and intolerance. In addition to championing the liberal arts, the Dean will also be tasked with providing leadership in promoting diversity and inclusion within the College community. This includes creating initiatives and programs that support underrepresented groups, as well as fostering an environment that values and respects all individuals. The Dean will be expected to actively work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable environment for students, faculty, and staff, and to serve as a role model for promoting diversity and inclusion within the institution.
