The client, UMBC Albin O. Kuhn Library, is seeking a Dean to join their team. The Dean will be responsible for overseeing the library's operations and strategic direction. This position will report to the Provost and work closely with other university leaders to ensure the library's resources meet the needs of students, faculty, and researchers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in library management and a deep understanding of academic libraries. They will have experience developing and implementing strategic plans, as well as a track record of fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. The Dean will also be responsible for managing the library's budget, staff, and resources to ensure the highest level of service to the university community.
