The Dean will be responsible for leading the School of Media & Information Technology to success by developing strategies to meet the current and future needs of polytechnic education and applied research. This includes identifying and forecasting current and emerging needs, ensuring the school is globally competitive, recognized, and strategically networked. The Dean will also serve as a senior member of the Academic Leadership Team, contributing to the overall leadership of the Institute through participation in the development of academic and business plans, financial plans, and performance objectives.Reporting to the Vice President, Academic, the Dean will be an agile and future-focused leader who will make an impact strategically and collaboratively in a culture of innovation and professional development. By exercising sound judgement and decision making, the Dean will play a key role in driving the organization's Vision, Promises, and Values. The successful candidate will be expected to lead with vision and integrity, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the School of Media & Information Technology.
