The Dean of the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Science at UBC's Okanagan Campus reports to the Provost and provides strategic leadership to the Faculty and the Campus. With over 3,380 students and 220 faculty and staff, the Faculty is known for its student-focused learning environment and has received over $55m in external research funding in the last 5 years. The successful candidate will have a strong record as an educator and researcher, be eligible for a Full Professor appointment, and possess leadership experience to continue the Faculty's momentum.The new Dean will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, fostering collaborative relationships, and serving as an external ambassador for the Faculty.
