
The Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences & AVP, Macdonald Campus is responsible for overseeing the educational and research agenda of the Faculty, working with the community to set academic priorities and develop plans to achieve them. They will lead efforts to promote collaboration among faculty, staff, and administration, encouraging innovation and renewal in academic programs with a focus on interdisciplinary and inter-campus collaboration. Additionally, the Dean and AVP will be responsible for setting the annual budget, overseeing campus development and operations, and determining faculty and staff complements.In addition to academic responsibilities, the Dean and AVP will lead campus development initiatives in partnership with other stakeholders, serving as an ambassador to neighbouring communities and external partners. They will work on renovations, major reconstruction projects, and capital construction initiatives to implement the mission and vision for campus development. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in academic program development, and a collaborative approach to building consensus within the Faculty and with external partners.
