The Dean will be responsible for university-wide governance, program planning, and development to ensure the quality of business programs at the institution. They will chair committees, lead curriculum development, and work with university leadership to implement new programming initiatives. The Dean will also oversee external relationships, representing the business programs with various stakeholders and managing partnerships with regulators and licensing bodies. Additionally, the Dean will work to support student academic achievement and successful outcomes, collaborating with other university units to ensure an excellent student experience and quality assurance of faculty programs.The ideal candidate for this position will have an earned doctorate in a related field, at least 7 years of teaching experience at the postsecondary level, and at least 3 years of administrative experience in higher education. They should have experience with online course delivery, strong diplomatic and organizational skills, and the ability to inspire and lead faculty with diverse interests. The candidate should also have a strong focus on student success, excellent communication skills, and a track record of accomplishment in the scholarly and research community.
