
The Dean position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in administrative roles within a research-intensive university. The ideal candidate will have a successful research and teaching background, qualifying for a Full Professor appointment at our client in the Beedie School. They must be a strategic and engaging leader who can inspire and collaborate with various stakeholders to support the School's vision and unique culture. The Dean will also be responsible for upholding our client's values of ethical and social responsibility, Indigenization, decolonization, and Truth & Reconciliation, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusive excellence.
Additionally, the Dean must be a skilled relationship builder, fostering meaningful connections both internally and externally to ensure our client Beedie continues to offer cutting-edge learning opportunities that cultivate future global leaders. They will work to engage students, faculty, staff, donors, alumni, industry partners, and other stakeholders in advancing the School's mission and goals. The successful candidate will be a bold and visionary change agent with a strong service orientation and excellent communication skills, driving innovation and growth within the academic community.
