Our client is a successful international service provider in the rail transport industry, serving as a contractual partner of BB and responsible for service on Nightjet trains. With over 35,000 employees globally, including over 800 in Austria, the company is known for its reliability and stability. The role involves managing the finance team, overseeing accounting, debt collection, taxes, legal matters, treasury, controlling, and payroll accounting for the companies served. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing group standards and procedures, managing the budget process, and handling intra-group settlements.
The ideal candidate will have a background in economic studies with a focus on finance, controlling, or accounting, along with several years of management experience in controlling or finance. Strong analytical skills, a high sense of responsibility, and a solution-oriented approach are essential. Technical proficiency, familiarity with common IT systems, and fluency in English (French is a plus) are also required. The position offers a competitive salary starting at EUR 75,000 annually, with a variable portion and potential for overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
