The Contract Attorney - Commercial Contracts position is with our client in the tri-state area, requiring 1-2 days in the office per week. The role involves handling a variety of high volume commercial agreements, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts with global scope. The successful applicant must have 4-7 years of in-house experience advising on high volume commercial contracts, ideally within a global organization, and be able to negotiate directly with clients for large-scale global contracts.
The Contract Attorney will report directly to the General Counsel, work with a global legal team, and provide legal advice to internal business units as needed. The ideal candidate will have a JD from a US ABA-accredited law school, be admitted to a US State Bar in good standing, and have experience working with technology agreements, consulting agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs. This is a 3-month contract with potential for extension, offering a competitive hourly rate and a hybrid work arrangement from the New Jersey office.
