I agree to most however I can't agree to the statement that professionals in fifty who are having difficulty in finding new opportunity is because that they have not kept their skills current.
I am an allied medical professional who received his masters in business from a top university and I am also a PMP but can't get any traction in a new field of choice. I am over qualified for most openings per hiring managers and I do take off all my skills to get a job in medical field.
