Scion Executive Search is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for their client, a startup nonprofit called Inspire Access. The ideal candidate will be determined, gritty, and passionate about closing the gender and racial investment gap by directing philanthropic capital towards for-profit companies led by women and people of color. This full-time, hybrid position is open to candidates in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region or those willing to relocate.
Inspire Access is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to investing philanthropic dollars in funds and companies led by women and people of color founders who have historically lacked access to investment capital. The organization's mission is to close the gender and racial investment gap by supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs. The Chief Operating Officer will need to have an action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning and management.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in business planning and management, as well as a passion for social impact and diversity in entrepreneurship.
