The Director of Development (DOD) position at our client is seeking an experienced fundraising leader to design and lead multimillion dollar fundraising efforts for the organization. Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, the DOD will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support ambitious annual fundraising goals. This role will involve cultivating new prospects, stewarding existing funders, and overseeing development operations with the support of the Development Manager. The DOD will be responsible for securing additional philanthropic partners to expand the reach and impact of our client's team of former educators, system leaders, and researchers. Working closely with the President & CEO, the DOD will lead efforts in managing our client's donor pipeline, donor reporting, and impact storytelling efforts. Collaboration with the Program team, Research and Evaluation team, and Chief Revenue Officer will be essential to inform and report on fundraising goals as they relate to organization-wide goals.
