A social housing provider is seeking a Chief Investment & Development Officer (CIDO) to lead the development of new homes and the regeneration of existing properties. The CIDO will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to develop an investment strategy and maintain a capital allocation framework. The successful candidate must have experience in housing, property development, or construction at an executive level, with a track record of building relationships with key stakeholders and fostering innovation.
The CIDO will play a key role in defining strategy and direction for the Development and Asset Management functions within the organization, ensuring the realization of the 'Homes and Place Standard' ambition. This is a hybrid role based in Wembley and Basingstoke offices, offering a competitive package. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading large development and strategic asset management functions in a complex organization, with a focus on inclusiveness, diversity, and collaboration to achieve our client's ambitious vision.
