Metrie is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team due to an upcoming retirement. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and play a crucial role in the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategy and success of the business. Responsibilities include overseeing financial activities for both Canada and U.S. operations, leading a team of 40 professionals, and ensuring proper reporting standards are followed. The CFO will also provide recommendations to the Board of Directors on annual operating plans, budgets, and potential areas for growth through acquisitions. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly engaged in the business and share Metrie's ambition to become the most trusted millwork supplier in North America. They will have experience in corporate finance, accounting, internal controls, treasury, tax, compliance, strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The CFO will be responsible for mentoring their team and ensuring that all financial activities align with the long-term goals of the organization.
