The client, a nonprofit agency in Peabody, Massachusetts, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership as the organization expands its services and programs to empower people with disabilities and other life challenges. The CFO will oversee financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with Department of Development Services (DDS) contracts that fund the client's community housing, day programs, outpatient treatment, recovery services, education, and employment training throughout Eastern Massachusetts. With over 1,400 employees, including 90+ healthcare professionals, the client has a rich history of providing social and human services for 65 years, guided by a mission to inspire hope and empower individuals.
The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the client will be a mission-driven leader with a strong financial background and experience in nonprofit management. They will have a track record of strategic financial planning, budget management, and financial analysis, as well as a commitment to supporting the growth and impact of the client's services.
