Our client is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial operations of the organization, which includes managing a substantial investment and property portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Executive & Clerk to the Company, the CFO will lead a finance team of three staff members and serve as Secretary to the Finance and Investment Committees, as well as the Pension Fund Trustees. The CFO will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the Company's professional advisers to ensure financial stability and growth.The CFO role is crucial in supporting the charitable ambitions of the 600-year-old institution by providing strategic financial guidance and oversight. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the financial resources that enable the organization to fulfill its mission. The CFO will also be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and compliance.
