Rare is seeking a Chief Financial Officer in Arlington, VA to drive social change for people and nature. The CFO will be responsible for developing and executing our client's global financial, operational, talent, and IT management strategy, contributing to the organization's strategic goals. With our client raising approximately $30 million annually from individual donors, foundations, and corporations, the CFO will focus on increasing individual giving, broadening outreach to diverse donors, growing unrestricted giving, and building a coalition of foundations for funding innovation and scaling strategies. Reporting to the President, the CFO will lead a team of 20+ staff and directly manage a team of SVP/VP/director-level staff, requiring a finance executive with global experience and creative problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate for this full-time position will have a CPA certification and a proven track record in finance.
