The client, a private nonprofit organization established in 1977, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead their team in advancing health, well-being, and diversity within the disability community in Pennsylvania. The CEO will be responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 50 staff members who provide legal and advocacy services, training, information and referral, and outreach to individuals with disabilities. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will also be tasked with organizational development, supervising senior staff, and managing a budget.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in advocacy, civil rights, and disability rights. They will have experience leading a team and managing a budget, as well as a passion for advancing the rights of individuals with disabilities. The CEO will need to be a strategic thinker, able to work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, staff, and external partners to achieve the client's mission and goals.
