The CEO of Austrade will lead our client focused on driving Australia's economic prosperity through promoting the country as a reliable source of high-quality goods and services, a safe and stable location for investment, and a premier destination for education and tourism. The ideal candidate will be a fast-thinking and results-oriented leader who can adapt quickly to changes in global trade and investment, as well as world economies. They must be passionate about increasing Australian exports and investment in alignment with the Australian Government's strategic priorities, such as Trade and Investment Diversification, Net Zero, and Economic Security. In this role, the CEO will work to enhance Australian companies' ability to do business globally through various programs and initiatives at national, industry, market, and company levels. They will oversee the effective delivery of key programs such as the Export Market Development Grants scheme, Tradestart purchase/provider arrangements, and seminars that increase understanding of Australia's free trade agreements. The CEO will play a crucial role in advancing our client's core functions of providing practical advice and assistance to Australian businesses looking to expand internationally.
