The Chief Estimator position requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of estimating experience in construction and/or environmental fields. This full-time role is located in New York and involves overseeing and managing the estimating team, ensuring accurate and timely submission of estimates for environmental and fuel facility projects. The Chief Estimator is responsible for the overall performance of the department, including managing, motivating, and training the estimating team.
In addition to managing the team, the Chief Estimator will also be preparing a portion of the construction and service estimates. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Chief Estimator must ensure that all estimates are submitted accurately and consistently to meet the needs of the client's Construction and Service Business Units.
