The Chief Estimator position requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of estimating experience in construction and/or environmental fields. This full-time role is located in New York and involves overseeing and managing the estimating team, ensuring accurate and timely submission of estimates for environmental and fuel facility projects. The Chief Estimator is responsible for the overall performance of the department, including managing, motivating, and training the estimating team.
In addition to managing the team, the Chief Estimator will also be preparing construction and service estimates. This role involves working closely with the Director of Fueling Service/Compliance/Testing/Environmental and collaborating with the Construction and Service Business Units. The Chief Estimator must ensure that all estimates are submitted accurately and consistently, while also focusing on developing and implementing strategies to improve the estimating process and department performance.
