Our client is seeking a Chief Development Officer for its new College of Osteopathic Medicine. The CDO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fundraising for the IUP COM, including major donor identification, strategic initiatives, solicitations, and relationship development. Reporting to the Founding Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine, the CDO will manage a prospect and donor portfolio, develop short and long-term fundraising plans, and collaborate with university leadership for a coordinated fundraising campaign. The successful applicant will increase fundraising dollars and donors over a five-year period by developing major gift opportunities and identifying new sources for grant funding.
The Chief Development Officer will play a key role in advancing healthcare education at IUP by addressing the critical shortage of physicians in Pennsylvania, particularly in rural areas.
