QCH is looking for a Chief and Medical Director of Psychiatry to provide leadership and direction to the Psychiatry Department in order to achieve the hospital's strategic goals. This role involves overseeing the professional practice and quality of care provided by departmental staff, as well as working collaboratively with the Patient Care Director and other members of the leadership team to optimize resource utilization. The Chief and Medical Director will work closely with Senior Leadership, Department Chiefs, and professional staff to ensure alignment with the hospital's strategic direction and enhance the overall functioning of the Psychiatry Department.Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Chief and Medical Director will play a key role in enhancing the Psychiatry Department's operations and contributing to the hospital's overall success. This position requires a strong background in psychiatry, as well as experience in medical administration and strategic leadership. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. The Chief and Medical Director will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in the Psychiatry Department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
