The Chair of Restorative Sciences at the Dental College of Georgia will oversee a team of 25 faculty members, an office manager, and administrative support staff. This includes managing both full-time and part-time faculty members across various programs within the department. The Chair will be responsible for overseeing pre-doctoral courses for D1-D3 students, as well as pre-clinical labs and clinical experiences. Additionally, they will oversee advanced dental education programs such as Prosthodontics and AEGD programs.
In this role, the Chair will play a key role in shaping the curriculum and educational experiences for dental students at the college. They will work closely with faculty members to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and training for students in both pre-doctoral and advanced dental education programs. The Chair will also be responsible for managing departmental resources, budgeting, and strategic planning to ensure the department's continued success and growth.
