In terms of Human Resources and Resource Management, the position involves leading annual performance reviews for direct reports, overseeing faculty/instructor hiring, and recommending hires to the Office of the Vice-Provost. The role also includes managing staff performance, hiring and managing employees, preparing and managing the operating budget, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring course enrollments are on track. Furthermore, the position involves fostering relationships with internal and external constituencies, participating in university and community service activities, acting as an ambassador for the university, and fostering opportunities for new partnerships and collaborations.
