Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts, is seeking a Chair of the Board of Trustees. The organization focuses on initiating cross-sectoral partnerships to support artists and communities in creating exceptional art together. With a team of eleven and a commitment to the transformational power of collaborative arts, Create is looking for a new Chair to work closely with the Director in leading the strategic direction of the organization.
The Board of Trustees currently has eight members, including the outgoing Chair, with a diverse range of skills, experience, and backgrounds. Recent recruitment efforts have provided stability in membership for the coming years. The ideal candidate for the Chair position will have a strong commitment to collaborative arts practice and the ability to lead the board in setting and achieving strategic goals.
