The client is seeking a new Chair to lead the organization in providing vital lifesaving and life-changing services to a population of 2.7 million people in the North East. The Chair will be responsible for providing leadership to the strategic direction, performance management, and governance of the Trust, with a focus on improving emergency services in the region. The ideal candidate will have extensive senior Board level experience in complex, regulated, and person-centred environments, and a strong focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion.
The successful candidate will be a visible and values-driven leader who is passionate about making a positive difference to the communities served by the Trust. They will have the highest levels of personal integrity, be comfortable operating at scale, and be a strategic thinker.
