The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong passion for horticulture and a deep appreciation for the curatorial and heritage significance of botanical gardens. They should also have a solid understanding of the importance of fundraising and be eager to act as an Ambassador for our client, especially in relation to current and future capital projects. The candidate will be responsible for representing one of the world's most historic botanical gardens and promoting its mission to the public.In addition to a passion for horticulture and fundraising experience, the ideal candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should be able to effectively engage with donors, stakeholders, and the public to promote our client's goals and initiatives. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of botanical garden operations and be able to contribute to the strategic planning and development of the organization.
