An exciting opportunity is available at a family office in NYC for a CFO role. The office focuses on commercial real estate and additional investments, providing high service levels to a small international family. The role is predominantly in-office, 4-5 days per week with flexibility, reporting to the CEO of the family office. Responsibilities include traditional CFO duties, senior involvement in new investments, financing, corporate structuring, and real estate property management oversight. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience, preferably with Big 4 auditing experience in family office, real estate, or private equity, along with CPA certification.
The successful applicant must have a CPA, Big 4 audit experience or similar, family office or real estate investment accounting experience, tax experience, and 8-15 years of finance experience. Duties include international entity management, financial statement preparation, cash management, bank reporting, trust and estate planning oversight, investment management, review of new investments, corporate structuring, and leading new financing and re-financing.
