The role offers a competitive salary of 77k plus car and house on site in Wadebridge, Cornwall. The organization, founded in 1793 and registered as a charity since 1926, organizes the annual Royal Cornwall Show and supports various community events and educational programs in schools across the county. With a revenue of 2.7m in the year ending September 2022, the association is financially stable and poised for future growth.
The successful candidate will lead the development of a new mission, vision, and strategic plan for the association, as well as oversee a governance review to ensure alignment with modern charity standards. They will manage a small staff team and volunteer network to deliver the Royal Cornwall Show to high standards annually, while effectively utilizing the association's resources. Ideal candidates will have a background in the Agricultural/Rural sector, proven leadership and management experience, and strong interpersonal skills.
