
Our client, a multinational leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Sales Engineer to promote and sell solar installation projects. Reporting to the Managing Director of the Senegalese subsidiary, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting solar services to existing clients and prospecting new clients. This role involves providing technical and commercial offers, estimating costs, simulating solar system performance, conducting site visits, negotiating with suppliers, and reporting sales activity.
The successful candidate will be an engineer with at least 6 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in the solar/photovoltaic sector. Experience in selling solar projects in a B2B environment is preferred, along with proficiency in solar specifications and related software. Strong communication skills, a results-oriented mindset, and fluency in English and Wolof are required. The position offers a competitive salary plus bonuses.
