Trcaire is seeking a Non-Executive Director with expertise in Mobilising the Irish Public to join their Board of Directors. This is a voluntary position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in addressing poverty and injustice both locally and globally. Trcaire is an International Non-Governmental Organisation (INGO) established by the Irish Catholic Bishops conference in 1973. They work with local partners in at-risk communities around the world to bring about positive and lasting change for a just world.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mobilizing the Irish public and a passion for social justice. Trcaire works in partnership with local organizations and communities in over 15 countries in Africa, Central America, the Middle East, and Asia. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the mission of Trcaire and help create a more equitable and sustainable world for all.
