Sheffield Search is assisting the New Zealand Rugby (NZR) Board Appointments and Remuneration Panel (ARP) in recruiting the final member for the newly formed NZ Rugby Board. This position will complete the board, which consists of the Chair and eight Independent Board Members. The ideal candidate must be a qualified and experienced governance professional who has served on the board of a New Zealand Provincial Rugby Union or held an executive management position within one. Additionally, the final board member must be female to meet the requirements of the NZR constitution. The successful candidate must be able to think and act independently, and their appointment will need to be ratified by the Affiliated Bodies.Following a recent governance review and the ratification of eight board appointments, NZR is now seeking applications for the last governance position. The final Prospective Board member will play a crucial role in the governance of NZ Rugby and must bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
