BlueSteps Announces 2013 IE Scholarship Winners

BlueSteps, the executive career management service of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) and IE, one of the world’s top ranked providers of executive education and the leading business school in Spain, are pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 IE Scholarship which was open for applications to all BlueSteps members through September 2012.

BlueSteps members, Natalie Lewes (MA IB, DipRP REC, UK), Project Director at Bait Zakher General Contracting Establishment (Al Ain/Abu Dhabi, UAE), and Fouzia Boutbza, Middle East Business Development VP for Verdande Technology, have both been awarded the 2013 scholarship to study in IE’s Executive Master in Positive Leadership and Strategy program in Madrid, Spain.
Valued at €22,500/$30,000USD, the prestigious award is sponsored by IE and BlueSteps.com. IE prepares executives from all over the world for new levels of leadership in their careers and within their organizations.
The Master program begins in April 2013, and through the IE Scholarship, Lewes and Boutbza will experience heightened levels of professional transformation via five intense, one-week training modules which take place on the Madrid IE campus throughout 2013 and 2014. “BlueSteps extends our warmest congratulations to our two scholarship recipients” commented Glenda K. Brown, Managing Director, AESC and BlueSteps. “We fully support IE’s commitment to promoting innovation in global leadership and we are excited to partner with the school through this scholarship.”
The Executive Master in Positive Leadership and Strategy, delivered by  a faculty  of world-class international experts who are the established business  leaders and  pioneers in the field of emerging science of positive psychology, is  designed to help senior managers and C-level executives transform the way they lead their organizations. The program applies cutting-edge science to achieve positive and lasting impact in the modern workplace.

Recent research in psychology, neuroscience, and economics, demonstrates that individuals, teams, and organizations that incorporate positive approaches to leadership perform at a superior and more sustainable level than their peers, with employees who are more engaged and satisfied with their work, and productivity up to three times that of companies led by conventional methods.
