Singapore is widely regarded as one of the most fast-paced and exciting cities in the world. The city has become a metropolitan hub for international business development. In a recent survey that the AESC conducted of senior executives working in Singapore, a question was asked as to why Singapore was so economically successful. Respondents to the survey were allowed to enter in their own thoughts on this question, and some of the reasons given for Singapore’s success included:
- Business friendly policies of the government
- Political stability which has created economic growth
- Singapore’s geographic location, and reputation as a safe place to do business
- English speaking provides an advantage
