The Associate Vice President will have direct oversight of various departmental functions including digital, strategic marketing, creative, web, and multimedia, playing a key leadership role within the organization. They will serve as a liaison between the division and academic and administrative partners to enhance storytelling across the university. The successful candidate will need to be a strong team player, builder, and partner, with skills in leading through influence, empathy, and consensus-building.In this role, the Associate Vice President will lead the marketing efforts of the organization by driving vision, strategy, and execution towards specific goals. They will spearhead brand campaigns, messaging programs, and strategic initiatives in a collaborative, decentralized environment. The AVP and their team will be responsible for measuring the impact of their work to increase awareness and reputation on regional, national, and global levels, while partnering with various units within the university and serving as a leader in higher education marketing. Additionally, they will work closely with the Associate Vice President for Strategic Communications to develop and measure fully integrated marketing communications strategies and campaigns.
