Our client is seeking an Associate Vice President for Human Resources (AVPHR) to oversee the vision, strategy, and implementation of all human resources policies and initiatives in alignment with the College's strategic plan. Reporting directly to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, the AVPHR will lead the Office of Human Resources in furthering our client's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as maintaining its reputation as a great place to work. The ideal candidate will possess strategic leadership skills, organizational effectiveness, and high emotional intelligence, with a preference for experience in higher education or a similarly complex organizational setting.
The AVPHR will be responsible for integrating and implementing human resources operations and systems to support our client's diverse workforce and foster a culture of engagement and commitment. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree, with a preference for a master's degree in industrial relations, business with a focus on human resources, or an equivalent relevant advanced degree.
