The Associate Vice President for Facilities, Planning, and Management (AVPFPM) at the University will provide strategic leadership for the university's facilities operations, overseeing all aspects of academic and administration facilities management. This includes physical space planning, design and construction management, maintenance and repair, landscaping and grounds, custodial and maintenance services, utilities distribution, transportation, and budget oversight. The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking leader committed to the university's mission and the community of Muncie, able to articulate a campus vision that benefits all stakeholders and engage others through communication and collaboration.The AVPFPM will focus on facilities planning, maintaining physical assets, relationship building, employee engagement, continuous improvement, and delivering excellent service to stakeholders. They will work with faculty, staff, students, donors, and community leaders to enhance the student experience, support faculty and staff goals, and foster community engagement. The AVPFPM will also lead important current projects such as The Village Development, The Estopinal College of Architecture renovation, The Music, Art & Theater Complex renovation, and the Bracken Library renovation.
