Description

The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Services (AVPES) is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enrollment plan focused on recruiting, enrolling, and retaining a diverse student body. Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, the AVPES provides leadership in strategic enrollment management to achieve university enrollment goals. This includes collaborating with various university departments to develop effective recruitment and enrollment strategies, overseeing offices within Enrollment Services, and ensuring that financial aid and scholarships are awarded in accordance with regulations.The AVPES also provides oversight to the Office of Admissions, Office of the Registrar, and International and Exchange Student Center to ensure timely admission decisions, enrollment support, and resources for international students. Additionally, the AVPES works closely with the Assistant Vice President for Graduate Studies, Office of Institutional Research, and Office of Budget Planning and Management to analyze enrollment data, set enrollment goals, and support decision-making processes. By staying current with trends and best practices, the AVPES contributes to the overall success of the Division of Student Affairs and the university as a whole.
